Practical advice from people who have done it: drive the route once at the hour you would really be driving it, before you sign anything. An hour on a map and an hour on a Tuesday morning with coffee and a kid in the back seat are not always the same hour.

Do the fuel math with your own numbers

Classes are daytime. Which schedule you get depends on the cohort you join:

• Mon/Wed/Fri cohorts — 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Three mornings a week, finished by lunch.
• Tue/Thu cohorts — 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Two longer days, and the rest of the week is yours.

From an hour out, that difference is bigger than it looks on paper. Three mornings is six one-way trips a week; two days is four.
