A tour is not a favor a school does you — it is your inspection. You are about to hand someone weeks of your life and real money, and twenty minutes of good questions protects both. Here is the list we would want our own family using, on any tour, including ours.
Why you should tour even if you've already decided
Websites are marketing — ours included. A tour is evidence. In one visit you learn things no page can hide: whether the equipment is real or a photo prop, whether students look engaged or bored, whether the person showing you around answers questions straight or steers you to a contract. Every legitimate school will happily let you look; hesitation to show you the room is the answer.

The money questions, specifically
Total price including every fee. What the payment plan really totals. What happens if you withdraw. Whether the school takes Workforce Solutions funding or WIOA. Verify the license — it takes five minutes
Texas career schools are licensed by the Texas Workforce Commission, and the directory is public. Ours is #S5316; look it up, and look up any other school you tour.
